We are delighted that the RS Aero European Championship will be part of the massive RS Sailing Games at the Olympic Venue of Weymouth in the UK. We look forward to building on the near 100 RS Aero fleet and fantastic racing that we all enjoyed at Carnac last year!
The last RS Games in 2018, also at Weymouth, was a build up to the 2012 Olympics and saw bumper entries across the RS fleets with a wonderful mass regatta atmosphere. The WPNSA site will be completely blinged for the Regatta, with a vibrant Sailor's Village - think Cowes Week but with dinghy sailors and cheaper drinks! There will be socials planned with our usual mix of entertainment.
We join the RS Games party from 30th to 5 August. Racing will be from to with registration, measurement and coaching the weekend before.
We share the week with the Class, who are also having their on a separate race area. This will allow parents and siblings of the sailors to compete in the RS Aero Europeans, rather than being left behind on the beach! The starts racing the day after the RS Aero Europeans finish, so it is possible for our younger sailors (or anyone actually!) to compete in both.
Racing
The sailing will be out on the fabulous and varied waters which contested the 2012 Olympics and will be held predominantly out in the bay. 2 or 3 races per day are scheduled, from Monday 6 to Friday 10 August.

Charter an RS Aero
Charter RS Aeros are available thanks to the support of RS Sailing. They are £ for the week, including sails, delivery and insurance. A damage/security deposit will be required on handover (like car hire).
Please request early to avoid disappointment! Request these through Peter Barton.
